What a wonderful read. Thanks for posting the link. It is nice to have something upbeat and positive to read about Princess...especially written by someone on the inside. I wholeheartedly agree with the comments about being polite to the staff.

 

My nephew just finished serving as an officer on cruise ship and the stories he tells support what I just read in this blog.

I think this should be required reading for anyone considering taking a cruise. Admittedly it's one person's opinions, but many of his insights have confirmed what many of us have no doubt been thinking all along:

Most cruise ship positions are indeed good jobs; most crew are well-taken care of and most importantly, if you want something, for god's sakes treat people with some respect!

I look forward to more insights from this gentleman and agree with a previous poster that he has excellent writing skills - no doubt could write a very readable book!
