C&A points--area cruises prior to 2011 counted as # days+1?

C&A points--are cruises prior to 2011 counted as # days+1? What about for a 3 or 4 day cruise? I read somewhere that prior to 2011, we got 7 days+1 point? I've got 2 little 3-4 day cruises, and if that's the case, it's not reflected in the conversion. It would push us into the next level. Also, will C&A desk recalculate it for us via phone, or is there somewhere I send an email? Thanks, Elaine

Sorry, meant nights. Question is do the prior 2011 cruises up to 7 days all get 7 points+1 extra point? I read elsewhere on CC that this is how C&A calculated them.

Yes a lot of rcl cruisers took the shortest cruises on the oldest ships back then to get a full week credit for doing 3 day cruises. I was in texas and wasnt easy as we had a 7 day ship.

Yes its true.

Until Jan 1, 2003 it was 1 credit per cruise no matter the stateroom category or length of cruise.

After Jan 1, 2003, an extra credit was given for cruises of 12 days or longer.

After Jan 1, 2004, an extra credit was given for cruises in a JS or better.

Conversion Jan 21, 2011

Conversion from old cruise credits to cruise points:

If credits were 1-4, points = credits * 7 + 1

If credits were 5-7, points = credits * 7 + 3

If credits were > 7, points = credits * 7 + 13

So, from 2007-2010, if I had below cruises, I should get 7x3 plus 1 extra=22 points on conversion?

7 night OV

3 night OV

4 night OV

Using above math (3X7) + 1 extra point=22, plus my post 2011 cruises is 56 points, which is what C&A shows. Thanks for insight.

Weird though, a 7 night (from last year) that's counted in that 56 doesn't show up, and DH is at only 49 points with that 7 night (as well as all others) showing up.

I don't understand why it wasn't 1pt per night in the conversion and the usual additions for suites and solo.  Are the records unavailable?

Some people might have lost status with that if they had done a bunch of 3 night cruises for 1 credit each.
