skeeter195 Posted September 18, 2023 #7 Share Posted September 18, 2023 When I shot trap(not skeet) off of the premiere line ship Atlantic in 1989 the shot(not pellets or bb's) was Stainless steel not lead. SS steel shot was used over water because it is environmentally safe. The clay that the pigeons were made from I am not sure of but clay is found naturally in nature so that may be OK also.
