Simple question—- Can you request the same table and staff in the Reserve Dining section?  We have always done that since our first cruise in 2003 and it makes for a great dining venture, thanks!

If you have been doing this since 2003, (20 years) why do you ask if you can do it?

It would seem that you have plenty of experience doing it. Reserve Class hasn't been around that long.

Because some have said that you can’t in Reserved Dining, we have reserved the same table/wait staff in the MDR all these years.  Once in a while we would dine in one of the specialties restaurants, but most of the time —MDR

You can request it, but if someone gets there earlier some evenings, they might get "your" table, especially if it's a window table for example. It IS easier to get the same staff though, as Reserve isn't that large (same answer as on the other thread). 🙂

When I said we’ve been doing it since 2003, I neglected to indicate that we did that for the main dining room.

Others may have been thinking you were trying to book it in DMW same time every day, which

you can’t for Reserve.

You know you just show up whatever time you like.

I would think if you find a table you love, ask the first night.  If they can, they will give you that table, or close by.  All depends on how crowded it is.
