Little National Hotel, Sydney Australia

We are staying pre-cruise at the Little National Hotel and was wondering if taking the train would be a good option to get to the hotel because it is near the Wynyard Station.  Then our cruise leaves out of White Bay cruise ship terminal, can we take the train there, or ferry, what is the best option.

Yes, you could catch the train (Iam assuming from Sydney Airport) to Wynyard Station as long as you can manage your luggage. The easiest way to get to White Bay from the Little National Hotel is by taxi or a ride share such as Uber. There is no direct train to White Bay or ferry for that matter.

The train is an excellent way to get to your hotel. Just be aware that there is a surcharge on the fare from the airport train station which for two or more people makes the cost nearly as much as a taxi.

 

You can use your credit card to pay fares on Sydney public transport.

If only one or two people, it is cost effective to use the train compared to a taxi or Uber.- the most it would cost for the train is $21.80 per person. Taxis are more likely to cost a fair bit more depending on the time of day.

White Bay is a long way from Downtown Sydney with NO public transport.
