1. Has anyone taken advantage of the Thermal Suites on the Viva?

In the common areas like the salt room, steam room, etc. are they co-ed?
I would like to be able to spend time in those areas with my husband and not alone LOL

2, Are the Spa Balcony Suites worth the extra $$?

Thank you.

I’m guessing this will be moved to the NCL forums, but yes they are co-Ed. I’ve read NCL is starting yo do away with spa cabin classes on their ships, but spa passes will of course still be available for purchase.

Thank you. I know on previous ships the sauna for example were not co-ed.

All Thermal Suite facilities are co-ed. The locker rooms have no facilities (other than showers). Spa rooms used to be more $$$ and, in fact, many times much more than buying the Thermal Suite passes independently. NCL is phasing out those rooms, so everyone needs to buy passes independently now.

"CATEGORY RECLASSIFICATONS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 2, 2023:

- The Haven Spa Suite category H9 will be reclassified to The Haven Penthouse Suite with Balcony HI"

Yeah... don't know exactly how that affects the pricing. If they make all of these "outside the Haven" an HI class, that jacks up the cost of those rooms significantly (because they used to be one of the cheaper Haven rooms).

Exactly, the price of those cabins were the cheapest Haven cabins on our last cruise. The were considerably cheaper than any other Haven cabin
