Please say it's because they're exposed not because of the wake. 🤔🙏

Because you can see all of the balconies from lido deck. More than what I showed I was being kind to them.

I know it’s nearing your last day and it’s been great following along with you on your journey. Thank you so much.  9 of us will be boarding Regal Princess on Dec 27th for New Year’s cruise. First time on Regal so I enjoyed your hints and tips, and humour.

One final question - on embarkation day did you see tables set up by staff in the Piazza selling the Princess Plus & Premium packages, and how busy were they? I am hoping to buy the Plus package and should save over $105 US (($142 CAN) because, if added before,  it would increase my Princess Platinum Protection insurance by that amount.

They do have this menu 5-7. But it seems like they don’t have them out until someone asks. At least that’s how it was today. 5:20 when I asked he had to go dig them out of the back.

A couple of notes the navigation presentation, galley tour, going back stage and on stage…not things I have ever gotten to do on Carnival…apart from the chefs table galley tour…and if they did have those things I would expect them to be more on journey cruises. Not run of the mill western cab cruises.

I saw them being sold outside Sabatinis Deck 5...that was leaving Fort Lauderdale on Oct 24th.. Galveston has strange alcohol rules so it may be different ....

Does anyone know about fortuna luck? Is it a mascot or something? Apparently that was the cd’s job before becoming cd. Like the cd’s dad died so he had to go home and she got promoted to that over asst and jr cds because of comment cards. And did good enough to get it on a permanent basis. Said she has a deal that makes this her ship at least until 2025.

From NJ @Jamman54 Hollow I think it was.

Thanks for your reply. I know you can’t use the Plus or Premium  package  for alcoholic drinks out of Galveston until you are in International waters - I think 12 or 15 NM. Don’t know how long that takes. I sure hope they sell the packages onboard as it would make a saving on the insurance premiums for us.

That's a bummer that: (1) the drink list is time-limited (would they really deny you at 4pm if you wanted one?); and (2) you have to ask to see the thing.  Seems rather odd and awkward.

Oh Lordy we got so sick and tired of her bad jokes on our last cruise - on the Caribbean Princess. 🙄 She is the casino mascot so to speak. Her cheesy jokes are lame and the Fortuna’s voice on the CB drove us nuts. Hopefully the one on the Regal is better.

I believe Fortuna Luck is on most, if not all Princess ships. We saw her on a couple of previous Princess cruises. Same character, different dress up artiste. She ran all the Bingo sessions on our cruises and was supposed to bring you luck - and she did - I won $100 on any line.

Ah. It didn’t feel like anything she was proud of. She kept referring to it as her previous job. Finally someone asked what the previous job was.

Makes sense. My guess is she had to read the script (jokes)  which were so bad. Smart woman. 😉

I don’t go to bingo so that makes since. She did mention her being on the side during deal or no deal so I referred my pictures. I’m guessing this is her

Red hair and cheesy style. Yup. That’s the character.
