That’s something carnival and NCl don’t do. not a deal breaker for me.

NCL does on Caribbean cruises - probably not Alaska

They usually give you a cool wet towel & something to drink coming back from an island

I was looking forward to seeing the Rancheros...but is that a flour tortilla? and Black beans? Where's the salsa? Not the tomato-ey stuff but the real salsa. One thing Carnival gets right is the salsa bar at Blue Iguanas.

IIRC they did on the Jewel Mexican Riviera and POA too. A towel wouldn't be missed in Alaska but did they really not provide water at least?

I think it was just a joke about my champagne and wine…and strawberries

Oh okay. I am just trying to be helpful. Share some tips that it took me awhile to find & that I wish I’d known sooner.
I will say you’ve definitely received some interesting perks. That robe is only provided to those in full suites. I love that robe and have tried to get it when I’m not in one but have not been successful on any of the ships. The wine and strawberries are pretty common gifts (still don’t know why they were sent) but that robe……man someone definitely likes you.

I remember seeing water on NCL on our Alaska cruise last month at the gangway and thought to myself who wants water? It's 30 degrees.

You had some cold Alaska days. I didn’t touch 30’s in June or September. We had some shorts days in June.
