The restrooms cost a dollar even if you ate at the restaurant?

No, if you're actively eating, or drinking they'll give you a ticket to hand to Big Mama who is guarding the stinkrooms... assuming you make it through the gauntlet.

Today is Aruba. I just got back to the ship after a full-day, 8-hour tour of the entire island except the national park with Farley of Aruba Fantasy Tours. We went north on the western roads to the tippy-top and then down the Atlantic Coast to Baby Beach at the very bottom where Atlantic meets Caribbean. Found them on TripAdvisor and after reading the stellar reviews picked them over a lesser excursion in an open air bus (we had AC 😁🏴‍☠️) offered by Carnival.  $60 with promo for 8 full hours and Farley really packed it in with enthusiasm and knowledge. And he was funny and an excellent Andretti brother.

Hi, How did you find the promo code and their website shows 7 hour tour. How did you book an 8 hour tour? Thank you for all the great info!

I think the promo was from a  "top contributor" email I got after a land only trip.  One use only,  $5 off some minimum purchase.  There were only 3 cruise people on the Van, the rest were from hotels. About halfway through the excursion Farley asked the 3 of us if 6pm dropoff at the port was ok for a detour and a little extra time at Baby Beach.  We said yes. We were picked up at the cruise port entrance at 10am so I count 8 hours. Good thing is cruisers get picked up last but dropped off first.

Curacao today.  I just walked around but that's fine because I love walking around Willemstad. Had beautiful charcoal charred octopus with potatoes that were described as baked, then fried in olive oil. Excellent dish and the view was great from the restaurant.

I am happy to report that while the cauldron in my belly continues to bubble, no you-know-what.  Sea Day, time to keep giving back to the casino.  No sea-day brunches yet which seems weird and I want my seaday brunch free drink. I asked what's up at breakfast and server said brunch will be day after Grand Turk. Jack's Shack not the same without Topher. Down about $600 in casino.  I'm going down there to get my money back!  I'll scare them with my stomach sounds!

Well, outta south Alabama came a country boy
He said, "I'm lookin' for a man named Jim
I am a pool-shootin' boy, my name is Willie McCoy
But down at home they call me Slim
Yeah, I'm lookin' for the king of 42nd Street
He drivin' a drop top Cadillac
Last week he took all my money, and it may sound funny
But I come to get my money back"
And everybody say, "Jack, ooh, don't you know

Yes, you get the W2-G, and they do not automatically take out Federal Tax. I have read that if you don't provide your SS they will take taxes out, but have no actual experience with that part.

Could be true.  I’ve never had taxes taken out. They just presented the W2-G and the full jackpot amount.  I’ve even asked for taxes to be deducted and was refused.  Makes sense.  The casino would love for you to play back your winnings.
