Y’all. It happened. I’m sitting at the Wheelhouse bar feeling good minding my business when I hear it… “Mr. S!” (That’s what my kids call me)…. Luckily it’s a former student in his mid twenties. Whew. Love this kid, great guy. Moments like this make it worth it.

MDR menu didn’t look great to me tonight. Italian night. It seems popular, but I dunno, being solo the MDR is a tough sell with those hyper close tables and all. Plus I grazed real hard in the Elite Lounge yet again. May hit HC or room service later

Wow, this is crazy empty. Crooners was always packed with some rocking piano players on all the other Princess cruises I’ve been on. What happened?!

Yes, it can be uncomfortable, but I cook dinner seven days a week, serve myself, and then clean it up.  It would be easy to just go up to the buffet and be lost in the crowd, but I’d rather someone else cook my meal, serve it to me, and then do the clean up. Sometimes, I’m actually seated next to some very nice people, too. And, yes, those two tops are placed too darned close.
