RolandofGilead Posted November 19, 2023 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2023 (edited) There is now a craps table in the casino on seascape. I was surprised to see it as I have heard that they were against having them. I asked one of the dealers and they said it would only be there for a month. $10 min 5/4/3 odds Edited November 19, 2023 by RolandofGilead

RolandofGilead Posted November 19, 2023 Author #4 Share Posted November 19, 2023 It’s at the very forward end. Last table closest to the center walkway by the blackjack tables. My first msc cruise so I’m not sure what was there before.

RolandofGilead Posted November 19, 2023 Author #6 Share Posted November 19, 2023 Yeah, or the dealer assisted. I’m curious how the dealers are. I plan on playing tonight. Craps can be pretty hard on new dealers. I’ve had first time dealers tear up and that was working with an experienced team.

A pair of roulette tables were at the front end of the blackjack tables.
cmoor052 Posted November 20, 2023 #8 Share Posted November 20, 2023 Very excited to hear your experience! Hopefully it's popular and they keep it around for my cruise in March.
RolandofGilead Posted November 20, 2023 Author #9 Share Posted November 20, 2023 There are still two roulette tables. Vig is payed upfront on buys. Talking with the dealers last night I am not 100% sure I heard them correctly on it being temporary but that’s still probably dependent on play. The table has been there since October 8. I have to say that the dealers are pretty darn good for only being a month in. They started the table with only one side open. It never got 100% full.,They do not have hop bets displayed.
RolandofGilead Posted November 26, 2023 Author #10 Share Posted November 26, 2023 The table was usually opened at 5ish but generally only busy after the first show let out then would taper off around midnight. the table was rarely full with usually only 3-6 people playing. part of this was probably that there were often lots of people just observing making the table look much fuller than it actually was. The lack of hop bet helped speed up the game. they were also good at enforcing no late bets. Its hard to judge point accrual because i played a little differently with how the big and odds were set up compared to my usual casino and my sessions were shorter that if i go somewhere to just play. They removed slot machines. We used to sit on the chairs of the slot machines waiting for the pink ball cap muster station staff to come out and scan our key cards at 4 pm. It is muster station D. The roulette tables are near the cashier.

To me, it shows more commitment by MSC to the American market. I know we always book through the casino dept (and then transfer to our travel agent for another 10% obc), and this development would earn even more of my loyalty as a craps enthusiast. Currently, I play 3-card poker up until I hit enough points for the 30% my next cruise, then I stop playing...usu about the 3d or 4th night in. With this, I would enjoy myself more for the whole cruise!

RolandofGilead Posted December 3, 2023 Author #20 Share Posted December 3, 2023 I was not planning on playing at all til I saw the table. I am spoiled with 10x odds at my usual casino so I had to adjust a little how I played. The dealers as mentioned before did well and were friendly. The boxman was also possibly the pit boss so would walk around occasionally which was weird.
