Allure - Question on Arrival Time vs. Boarding Time for Suite Guest

We are sailing on Allure of the Seas on Dec. 15 out of Port Canaveral. We are staying in a 1 bedroom Grand Suite. Our arrival time is 1:00 PM. With suite guests, I heard that you can arrive an hour earlier than this assigned time. We are Sky class, and it says "Flexible Arrival Boarding & Priority Departure".

Is this true? I seem to remember last time I cruised, which was on Mariner of the Seas out of Port Everglades, we arrived at around 11 AM and were allowed to board immediately, even though it was a few hours before our assigned time. Perhaps this is because we were in a Grand Suite.

Anyway, we plan on arriving at 11 AM, as we need to be out of our hotel by 10 AM.

We have never had any trouble boarding early.  He usually get to the pier about 11 am also and get on the suite line.  No problems. Have fun.  We don't cruise until April.  Can's wait.  I love the Allure.

Allure boards at 10:30 or earlier

You will breeze through at 11:00am

The other week

10:04am Parked Level 3

10:11am through security

10:15am Checked in

10:16am Boarding

10:19am On ship

10:22am Muster complete

10:45am WJ

ALLURE out of PC is a pleasant experience

Ignore that 1pm and the 1 hour before

Thank you to you both. We will now be going there earlier, at 10 AM!

Enjoy your GS

and if not already boarding when you get upstairs

There is a designated Suites waiting area over on the far right side facing the ship

And they are strict at allowing those guests board in order and make sure of it

Nancy

I assume that means if I as a suite/Pinnacle member has a non suite/Pinn drive me to the port that person won't be allowed to wait/board in that special area?  Was also wondering on disembarkation day if the person driving you who is not suite/Pinn is allowed priority disembarkation in PC

I am sure not a problem as you know, when you board hardly anyone is in the terminal 😉

Walk off self assist as you know, leave ship before Pins and Suites - so not a problem.

Suites and Pins normally have a waiting area by Bionic Bar or Boleros - 8am normally for them

And you will be home by then 😎

The Concierge escorted self assist Pinns and Suite guests before they started the regular self assist last week.  They actually had a problem with the aft gangway on the Allure and an officer took us down to the forward gangway and let us off first  I was off at 6:50

Boarding time is different than check in time at the terminal outside.  You may get lucky to get checked in early, but being in a suite...you do have the option to arrive an hour ahead of your scheduled time.

Boarding can be an altogether different thing.  On our last Wonder cruise, there was a Coast Guard inspection.  Everything was pushed back almost 2 hours.  Many things can delay boarding time.

But once inside, being in a suite, you have access to a comfortable seating area to the far right side towards the front facing the ship.

Enjoy your cruise.  🙂

You also have access to the suite lounge on deck 17 once you board the ship.  It is a great area to relax and escape the crowds until your cabin is available.

Plus nice relaxing lunch in CK and comfortable place to store your carry on bags near you.  🙂  We always head straight up there when we board.  🥰
