Enclave Day Pass and Treatment Access?

On the Royal Princess do they sell day passes in Alaska for the Enclave?  Do you get access to the Enclave with a treatment in the spa?  If so do hair stylings count towards this?  How long do you get access if they do provide access with spa treatments?

In our experience on the Discovery, Enchanted, and Emerald day passes are not sold, however, any treatments in the spa do come with a day pass to the Enclave for the day of your treatment.  I am not sure if hair styling would also receive access to the Enclave.

On our Alaska cruise we paid for the Enclave for the entirety of the cruise and with the chilly weather it was money well spent.

How far before your treatment can you access the Enclave?  Seems like it would get pretty busy if everyone having treatments can access it plus the people with passes.

Anyone been able to access the Enclave with just a hair service?

On the Enchanted and also on the Sky we were told you only got access if you purchased the pass. Just booking a massage or something else would not get you access to the Enclave. It is considered totally separate, that's why there is a special key card to get in. We always book 2 or 3 massages each and also buy the pass.

Just off the Discovery, I believe you do not get access to the Enclave with a treatment, but the Spa manager on Day 1 had some specials that included access to the Enclave for either 1 hour before OR after your treatment.

No access to Enclave if you have a hair service.

Anyone recently get access to the enclave with a spa service on the Royal?  Some conflicting info above so just looking for a bit of clarification.

I will be on the Regal and the pass is only sold for the full week , online.  It is separate from Spa services.

I’d imagine, as with anything, mileage will vary on what is available and when. That being said, the cost of a week pass is enough that the people in charge are managing the experience for paying customers. Those that purchase the pass don’t want the thermal suite unnecessarily crowded.

On an Alaska sailing, the Enclave will have enough presale for the thermal suite that access for spa services will be unlikely, as will day passes. Instead of trying to find a loophole, why not just plan ahead and buy the package and enjoy it without restraint?
