If I am 5 points away from next level and I am going on a 12 day cruise will I get benefits on this cruise of next level or not till next cruise? Thanks for anyone that knows

points are awarded after the cruise, your new level is on the next cruise

actually dawg, it's been my experience that after i get home, they've usually already been added to my total. regardless, the poster is correct, you dont get any of the points until after the cruise

it took about 3 weeks to get credited the points on my recent cruise on the escape back in November

Sounds like an opportunity to book another short cruise prior to the 12 night one.

I actually did that...it was a huge sacrifice to book a last minute 5-day cruise to Mexico LOL! But the added benefits for upcoming cruises were nice to have.

I'm one point (74) away from Platinum.  I am booking a cheap 3 day in February, as I'm planning a longer cruise later in the year.

Just an FYI in case this applies to anyone. We had a B2B cruise booked. We moved up to Platinum after the first cruise. We were able to go to Cruise Next and they made the adjustment manually so we got the extra perks on the second cruise.
