Rare PATRLR Posted December 7, 2023 #26 Share Posted December 7, 2023 FWIW, I'm in a Club Balcony Suite (category M2, not Haven) and got luggage tags sent to me. I don't recall the last time I got luggage tags from NCL, if ever. I also see no point in the protectors. I typically don't even print them at home, I just grab the tags they have at the port and write my cabin number on them.

I like knowing that my tags are going to stay on my bags. I'm also going to place airtags in my bags.
HowardK Posted December 7, 2023 #28 Share Posted December 7, 2023 I have done the following - please note I am using hard shell suitcases, besides printing the tags and then putting them in one of those tag holders I also get Avery full size adhesive sheets, print them and stick them to my suitcase. They are pain to take off though in fact I still have one of them on from 2018

You're probably right about the tags, but for five bucks, I took a shot.
Rare cruiser2015 Posted December 8, 2023 Author #31 Share Posted December 8, 2023 Well, my tags just arrived. They look awfully big to me. Particularly the width. They are designed to be multi-cruise line. Maybe some of the others are wider than NCL tags. Won't know for sure until the docs are availalble. seemoreroyals Posted December 8, 2023 #33 Share Posted December 8, 2023 The last several cruises the only luggage tags we have received were those printed out when we printed our cruise docs. We cut them out along the dotted lines. We used to staple but now we put them in zip seal luggage tag holders we ordered from walmart.com. I think it was less than $5 for 6 of them. We still had to fill in our name, address, and contact info so if you go that route don't forget to do that.

I didn't have any other experience and based on comments here, thought it was just one of those Haven perks. It's nice they're sent out (makes me a little bit more excited than normal), but as you stated, the porters do a great job with the tags when at the port. complawyer Posted December 8, 2023 #36 Share Posted December 8, 2023 for the past couple of years, i have been fortunate enough to be able to book a suite, so the luggage tags are sent to me in the mail that being said, (since we usually try and fly in a few days early) I dont put them on our luggage until we are in the hotel lobby, waiting for our transportation to the pier, or actually at the pier prior to giving them to a porter. in years past, when we didnt get them by mail, they could be printed out along with the cruise documents. To be safe, i printed them on higher stock paper, put a small stapler in our bag, and attached them at the hotel, before leaving for the port
