Let's talk coffee

I've been to the Dominican Republic a few times and saw a lot of coffee beans sold in the port shops.  I understand Dominican coffee is very good.  I'm going next week and would like to pick some up if anyone can recommend it.

There are several I really like...

Genta de Isla, both types are my top favorites

Cafe Santo Domingo Molido is next favorite

Cafe Caribeno by Chez and Brug vanila is tasty and not strong flavored

Induban  Tostado en grand-good

Sabor Dominicano Cafe -good

Monte Real is good but I think the chocolate notes are weak.

Thanks Elaine.  That's a big help.  I know Santo Domingo is the islands favorite. I'll probably end up buying a lot of different types.  I'm always on a search for the best beans.

Me, too.  I haven't gotten a bad one yet.  Some are available on Amazon but what fun is that!
