That’s an early departure for sure!  Hope no one tried to fly in the day of.

Have a great cruise!

Ships usually leave Baltimore around 3-4 pm depending on itinerary.

We were originally supposed to leave later, but they moved it up maybe six months ago when they swapped out Nassau for Bimini.

Quick hot take - Vision is WAY less crowded than Enchantment. Those extra cabins they added on Enchantment really do make a difference in how the ship feels.

For example, this is the current status of the Some Enchanted Evening Lounge with trivia starting in 10 minutes ...

Enchantment is also longer than Vision so that's how they added extra cabins.  It just means public spaces are more crowded, unfortunately.  Even though EN has two outdoor pools, it still has the same solarium, centrum, theater and dining room.

Dinner was good and surprising fast for the first night - I was at a table for 10 (with one empty seat) and we were in and out in about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Tomato soup (the vegan option) - it was very good:

Chicken saag (also very good is quite spicy):

Key lime pie (pretty good):

It's crazy how different it is. This sailing appeared to be fully booked for awhile now, and given it is the holidays, I have to assume there are a lot of third and fourth berths in use, and the ship feels half empty.

It will feel fuller tomorrow (a cold sea day).

You will wonder if all the "new" people arrived by helicopter.  😄
