The picture of the boat, the address of the office and meeting place definitely refer to Adventure Bound.

Adventure Bound went out of business.   My trip was done with captain Terry White.   1 844 SEA JUNO.

But it was a charter for 6 people though, right?

His boat takes six people. My wife and I did a private charter since we weren’t able to get others on the tour

Believe me I know about Adventure Bound. My comment was that the picture of the boat in the link showed Adventure Bound's boat. I had gone with the company a few times previously (2004 was the first year I believe) and I was cancelled on early last season and watched the drama unfold last year. Their 2 boats were up for auction this spring.

Do you recommend this to someone prone to seasick?

The trip to Tracy Arm can be a little rough, but smooth sailing in the fjord.

Do you remember roughly how long it took to sail from Juneau to Tracy Arm?

When we went it was raining a little windy but it wasn’t rough anytime during the trip.  I get seasick as well. The wrist bands are great. This trip is one of the best excursions I have ever done.

Depends on the boat.  As I remember the distance is around 50nm, so in a catamaran that can do 20 knots, around three hours with stops for whales and wildlife. It’s an all day excursion.

The times I went - they went fast and it was windy and choppy until we got to Tracy Arm and then it was smooth. I brought a book to read, others brought music to listen to. The first hour or so the scenery is "normal Alaska" and then it gets really good.

I would definitely be prepared if someone is prone to seasickness. For me, it felt like being in a speed boat.
