Mexican Riviera Dec.10

If anybody's thinking of booking this, there's a medical convention with a whole of attendees that ends Dec. 10 so there are limited lodging options.

Guessing you are talking about staying in San Diego? They do A LOT of big conventions there.

Yes I am.  Seemed odd that so many properties were marked 'Sold Out' in January for December.

I used to go to San Diego a few times a year for business, still go once or twice per year for pleasure. Like to stay in the Convention Center area, so have seen the impact of conventions several times. The hotels are likely holding rooms now, but may release some, at a higher price in a couple months, as they get an idea of attendance. They get some really good sized conventions there.

 

Have seen them running shuttle buses to further away hotels.
