Fuerte Amador Cruise Port questions

Hi!  Is new cruise terminal open yet?  Or, do we tender?  We're on Emerald Princess departing March 6, 2024.  Also, is there free shuttle to/from Albrook Mall?

The cruise terminal/dock is being used.  Whether that means it is open is up for debate.  No idea about shuttles.  EM

Ships have been docking there for more than a year but at last report there still is work to be done at the port, particularly paving roadways. If you look a bit down the board there are a couple of  threads with relatively recent information, and this one has some good pictures:

I was there on Emerald Princess at the end of January. We docked at the terminal but the new buildings and gangway weren't used. We got off the ship as usual and then had to take a shuttle through the active construction to the entrance to the terminal. We weren't allowed to walk.

It was really nice!  Hot and humid!  No free shuttle to/from Albrook Mall.  We were not permitted to walk around cruise terminal-instead we were shuttled to nearby area.  Wish I was still on the cruise!
