Cartons of Water Being Scaled Back?

Hello,

 

On my last cruise on the Joy in October (5 days) both my husband and I received 2 cartons of water each every day.  My next cruise scheduled on the Joy in May it now looks like we only receive only 1carton each?  We are Gold members in Latitiudes.  I was just looking at the privileges listed and it states only one carton.  Does anyone know if this is a thing now.  One more thing, we had the regular Beverage Package last time and this time.

I received 2 cartons of water each every day. 

 

We are Ambassadors and received 2 each on day 1 and that was it.   For Gold you get 1 each on day 1 and that is it.

 

As far as I can remember it has always been like that.

 

The only possibility was that you were in the Haven when it might have been different

2 cartons/day has never been a latitudes thing as far as I know. What type of stateroom did you have - maybe that was a factor? Or a perk if you booked through a TA.

There was a short term special when you booked, each member received 6 1-liter cartons on top of any other benefit.  We had this for B2B 7-day cruises and received 30 cartons (6x2x2 promotion +2x2 Saphire).

Did four new cartons actually show up every day?

On our recent Prima B2B we got 2 flo cartons at beginning of each leg.

Engr Jones:  Yes 4 new cartons every day and my friends cabin they received the same.  I was quite surprised.  Just a regular balcony cabin nothing special and I am just gold.

As noted by others - that was probably a special of some kind.  I've only done 2 cruises as Gold (one last year, one this year) and only got one carton of water during the entire cruise, and one of those cruises was 15 days.

We are both gold and only received one carton each and that was on the first day. That was on the Prima this past summer.

Possibly but I hope not, you may have been charged for these.  The steward saw the water(s) gone and replaced them.  Check your bill just in case if you still have it.
