If we have the choice of paying about US 5000 for a cruise on a balcony cabin, we do not feel that US 12.000 for the same cruise on Yacht Club is good value for money.

We would say the same thing comparing a Royal Suite on a MSC Seaship for $9,448 vs a Royal Suite on Celebrity Edge for $ 18,904. Thus finding the RS on MSC a good value.

P.S. This is what we call 'apples to apples'.

So you are OK with:

$10 bottles of wine being served at dinner in YC?

My DW likes Moscoto and the one she liked retailed for around $10.

On the other hand most of the wines I was served were in the in the $20 - $30 range.

Not meeting your "butler" until night 2?

Met our butler on Day 1, asked for a couple of reservations to be made. He even came by the night of our reservation at Butcher’s cut and escorted us to dinner.

We saw him occasionally throughout the cruise but only in passing.

Out of most premium liquors on Day 1?

I have no idea which premium liquors you found gone but I was drinking Ron Zacapa 23 the whole cruise and even found it available in bars outside the YC.

Overall, I had no issues with our YC experience and would certainly sail in YC again.

We never paid anywhere near $12,000 for a YC deluxe suite. The most we paid for an 11 nighter was $8300. Most were about $5300.00. (Unless you book RS.)

We started with YC and would never do anything other than that.  Have 8 done and 6 more booked.

Well this is the price difference I am seeing. And the Yacht club cabin would have to be an inside cabin. Otherwise it costs more.

I used to agree but now I am having second thoughts.

Currently on Seascape in YC and it's been not as good as before.

I was on Seashore last month and it started going down then.

I will post a new thread on it.

Problem is too many people and not enough space.

Very interested in hearing more. Thanks.
