elaine5 Posted March 3 #1 Share Posted March 3 Wondering how strict Princess has been on post-Covid sailing for wine brough onboard at ports? As AU/NZ has lots of wineries, we'd like to bring wine onboard from some of our port stops. Whether we could drink onboard vs. only retrieving at the end of the sailing would impact how many bottles we purchase. And, does it matter if the wine was purchased on a Princess winery excursion? Thanks, Elaine

Rare azbirdmom Posted March 4 #3 Share Posted March 4 They weren't strict at all when we went in December but things can change. We were waved through with wine every time. 2
Arizona Wildcat Posted March 4 #4 Share Posted March 4 It has varied from port to port and cruise to cruise. You cannot depend on being allowed to drink it on board. The only in Portugal have we always been able to bring wine (Port) on board.
Rare c-boy Posted March 4 #5 Share Posted March 4 we often brought a couple of bottles (one each) on board the majestic, from various ports with out any problems. Winery tours with numerous bottles, lended themselves to being pulled aside and questioned but; no wine was confiscated, not even tagged.
Rare startedwithamouse Posted March 4 #6 Share Posted March 4 (edited) Brought three bottles onboard in Auckland, no problem, no corkage, not tagged, just waved through security. This was on Majestic in October. Edited March 4 by startedwithamouse
