Rare aussielozzie18 Posted March 4 #1 Share Posted March 4 Royal Carribbean’s World Cruise on Serenade of the Seas is due to leave Bay of Islands, New Zealand tomorrow evening and arrive in Sydney on Friday. Just curious, will it pass by close to any of our coastline on the way to Sydney? (I’ve not paid attention to ship routes Sydney to NZ or vice versa before). Rare MicCanberra Posted March 4 #2 Share Posted March 4 I would think it would come directly for Sydney harbour unless there are smoother seas with a slightly less direct approach.
Rare arxcards Posted March 4 #3 Share Posted March 4 +1. Once they have cleared the North Island, it is normally a straight line from there to the pilot boarding area off Sydney Heads.

Rare aussielozzie18 Posted March 5 Author #5 Share Posted March 5 Apparently they had big seas after leaving Bay of Islands.
Rare arxcards Posted March 6 #6 Share Posted March 6 Very likely. Majestic Princess missed Bay of Islands & Auckland over the previous two days. Tauranga is their first port today, and it looks stunning.
