jm2341 Posted April 2 #1 Share Posted April 2 Greetings- Does anyone have an exact physical street address and Pier number for the Carnival Venezia Cruise Terminal in NYC ? Additionally, are there any suggestions as to which time to arrive at the NYC port in order to avoid the long lines for a April 26th departure on the Venezia? Thanks for your help

Go to 711 Twelfth Avenue, New York, NY; at 54th Street - taxi drivers know how to get there. Lots of luck in avoiding long lines - that size of ship, boarding thousands of passengers (many of whom have little regard for assigned boarding times) means an almost unavoidably long boarding process. Unless it happens to be Pier 90 - they are both used by MCT - and neither are dedicated to any particular line.

It's used as the address only because there is no other address to use. Neither Pier 88 nor Pier 90 are located at 12th Ave and 54th St, they are located at 12th Ave and 48th St and 12th Ave at 50th St, respectively. Further, the automobile entrance to the cruise terminal is at 12th Ave and 55th St. Telling the taxi driver "Manhattan Cruise Terminal' should be all you need to say to get there.
Brighton Line Posted April 4 #10 Share Posted April 4 You can also depart from Pier 90 and return to Pier 88 or vice versa all depending on what ships are calling on the day your ship is arriving at the port. I have done that with the car parked at the "wrong" pier for a Carnival cruise even.

Yes, That's happened to me a couple of times on NCL cruises.
