NCL Joy Haven Family 2BR Villa Sleeping Arrangements?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone sailed on the Joy since the refurb and can confirm the sleeping arrangements in the Haven Family 2BR Villa?  We're hoping that the sofa in the living room can sleep 2 but not optimistic that it was changed in the recent dry dock.

TIA

The regular 2 bedroom cabins weren't changing. They were just changing the owner suites into 3br villas by removing the existing Haven library area. So that 2nd bedroom is still very tiny and better suited for folks <20 yrs old.

We were in the 2 bedroom and depending of the size of the people the second bed can sleep two. Also, we were in the Aft facing Haven and the couch in the living room slept two as well. Dont forget the second bedroom also has a bunk that comes out of the ceiling.

How many are staying in the suite?

Are you trying for 2 in master bedroom, 2 in second bedroom, and 2 in living room?

We sailed in May 2024.  We had our teenage daughter on the couch. Idk how it could comfortably sleep 2.

Do you mean May 2023???? And was that a Haven 2BR Family Villa?

Thanks for the info but we're not asking about the 2nd BR.  We're asking about the couch in the LR of the 2BR Haven Family Villa.  Looking to put 2 on that couch if they will fit.

2 what? Adults? Teens? Children?

Just because the room says it can hold 6 doesn't mean it holds them comfortably.

The room hasn't changed, so any photos and videos you saw before the dry dock are still the same now.

I don't think that will happen.

If it can't be 2+3+1 for whatever reason, the mattress in the Pullman bed (in the ceiling of the smaller bedroom) can be removed and placed on the floor in the living room. It's not ideal but the steward will make it a "bed" in the evening and put it away in the morning.

Our 16 year old daughter and her friend who was 17 at the time both shared the pull out couch in the living room, but i will say both are petite. Depends on the size.

We just came off the Joy 2 weeks ago in the 2br family Haven suite room 17112.    The couch is a twin sized bed my 24 year old son's feet hung over and he is only 5'7".   Two little kids might be able to sleep if laying opposite of each other.   In the bedroom the bottom bed is Full sized and will hold 2 easily.  The upper bunk that comes from the ceiling is a twin but it is close to the ceiling and my kids hated it so they slept 3 on the bottom bed.    The biggest issue we had with the room (all all those around us had the same issue) is toilets not flushing, backing up, water going on and off to the entire suite.    They worked on our floor daily trying to keep all the rooms bathrooms working.

Was this the Bermuda cruise? The toilet problem must've been terrible!
