DogMomma23 Posted April 21 #1 Share Posted April 21 I know it's 6 hours and includes dinner at a hotel but the itinerary says we depart Barcelona that night at 6:00 pm so wondering the timeframe of the excursion and if it's worth it. We can't book for another month so not sure about the cost but would like to see the inside of La Sagrada Familia and this tour includes going inside and I know some are just the outside. Thanks for any info anyone can provide!!
deec Posted April 21 #2 Share Posted April 21 (edited) not all excursions are offered on all itineraries. Doesn't make sense that dinner would be that early to get everyone back onboard at 6. Maybe an "afternoon" with Gaudi. I do know that the church's stained glass is absolutely spectacular with late afternoon sun pouring through the windows. Definitely find a tour that includes the INSIDE too. Edited April 21 by deec

Yes I am confused as to the timing of this one.
Rare OneSixtyToOne Posted April 21 #4 Share Posted April 21 (edited) As stated in this thread, not all excursions are offered on every sailing. This one seems to be a tour of La Sagrada Familia followed by dinner and a multimedia presentation. Due to the timing I think this can only occur on the overnight in Barcelona, probably on arrival, not departure. You might be better off with a different excursion that allows you to actually see first hand more of Gaudi’s remarkable work. If this excursion is not offered I highly recommend Gaudí’s Houses of Modernism. We took it last year and it was tremendous. JeffElizabeth Posted April 23 #5 Share Posted April 23 Looks amazing! Wish we had done that last time. Barcelona is one of my favorite cities in Europe.
