Newsgal77 Posted April 24 #1 Share Posted April 24 I know about dress codes but should I be dressing for spring or much warmer wear? Im starting to think I should be packing my cashmere sweaters and a jacket. Thoughts? thanks!

Mark_K Posted April 25 #5 Share Posted April 25 Whether you should dress for spring depends on where you live. The last several days are going to be spring around UK weather, average high upper 50’s, lows 40’s. Or highs around 15 , lows around 7.
CruisersTimesThree Posted April 25 #6 Share Posted April 25 Definitely bring a sweater for indoors. Was on Silhouette in Feb/March in the Caribbean and it was freezing in the restaurants, lounges and casino, even though the outdoor temperatures were not that warm. I actually didn’t wear any of the shorter dresses I brought because my legs were so cold! What was odd was that in the mornings it was fine, it was the evenings that were so cold. Denny01 Posted April 25 #7 Share Posted April 25 Been on 4 TA’s and love them. You will spend a good deal of time inside the ship so you will need a bit more nicer outfits. Your idea of a few sweaters and a jacket is a great idea. Layering gives you flexibility. port-intensive cruises are a bit easier to plan for since you can check weather; a TA is tricky. But not a biggie since if the at sea wx turns, you can just be inside. And agree some inside venues can get cool. but a nice martini helps! enjoy! East bound or West Bound the answer is the same - layers with the outermost being light water and wind proof. Enjoy the cruise.
