When can I book shows etc?

Greetings All.         Can any of you knowledgeable cruisers tell me when I can book shows on board like comedy, aqua, etc for an October Trans Atlantic cruise on Oasis  We have not been on Royal Caribbean in many years and things have changed I'm sure.

 Also any tips and clever ideas while  on board would be appreciated

No set times these days. Start checking in August.

 

It used to be early in the month prior to your sailing month but reservations have begin opening even earlier for some ships/dates (like my June Wonder cruise).

Normally it is around the beginning of the month prior to your cruise, but start checking a little earlier. My daughter is sailing Oasis in June, so I will come back and let you know when hers opens up. It hasn’t yet.

Or a lot earlier. It really varies now. The June 2nd Wonder cruise I mentioned opened 50 days out (April 13th IIRC).

I am 22 days out and can't book shows on the site. My app is "on the blink", as always.

not sure on Oasis but I am on the Odessy in a couple of weeks and we only had 1 show that was reservable.   All the rest are not.

On Oasis-class you can make reservations for many more shows than Q-class.

That makes sense, on Voyager we had nothing to pre book, 1 now on Odyssey so when I go to icon I assume it will be many.
