Discount speciality dining

Does princess offer discounts on speciality, like Memorial Day sale or when you get on board?  Thanks for any tips

I have never seen a discount offer on specialty dining on Princess. In some instances a TA may offer a specialty meal as a perk included with your booking or if you have casino benefits your host may arrange a complimentary specialty dinner. Also people booked in suites get the benefit of a free meal in a specialty restaurant on embarkation day. But other than that or getting it included in your Premier package, the price for anyone purchasing onboard remains consistent.

The only discount I've seen on Princess, in more than 20 years of cruising with them, was the old coupon book that had a buy one get one half off for embarkation night at a specialty restaurant. (Or was it buy one get one free? It's been a lot of years since the coupon book itself was an offer. The email coupons - enough said, lol).

 

Princess doesn't have dining packages or sales on their specialty dining options like other lines. Yet.   They've been making so many changes in the last 2 years, I wouldn't be surprised to see something along either of those options show up eventually.. 

 

Fortunately, Princess specialty dining is still somewhat less expensive than other lines ; but not as much as it was even a year or so ago. And the new pricing on Sun doesn't bode well either . ($45 across the board instead of $35/39).

Celebrity do this. Never seen it on Princess.
