Onion Rye

Anyone besides me who eats onion rye bread ?

I just had a sandwich of veggie liver on onion rye bread.

I don't know what onion rye bread is. Certainly can't recall ever seeing such a thing in this part of the world.

Must be a New York deli type of bread.  In Boston we have onion rolls but not onion rye bread.

I have had onion rye bread sandwiches in Texas,California ,Mass and Virginia.

We don't have it in Central PA, but I have made it from a baking book I have (and I love it).
