Wow Torquer if you can find Veuve Clocquot for $35 a bottle let me know where…I’ll take a case. Goes for over $70 a bottle at Costco.

Yes, I'll take 2 cases, maybe he was looking at half bottles.

My local Total Wine store, San Francisco East Bay sells VC 750 ml for about $45 plus tax. I keep some in my fridge at all times in case of “emergency celebrations “!! 😁

Do you have lots of 'emergencies'?

We keep sparkling wine or champagne chilled at all times for unexpected special occasions, like sunset.

We actually prefer a nice Prosecco, which we traded for on the Koningsdam last year with our room attendant. Not a fan of French Champagne or French Style sparkling wine.

We always have a bottle of Veuve chilled for celebrations. I use prosecco for spritzes and like cava for every day.

Examples of celebrations - our team won the World Series, unexpected raise, guy we were in a lawsuit with got arrested by the feds...

We also exchanged the Wycliff for a bottle of wine.
