Should I even bid on obstructed balcony upgrade?

Just received upgrade bid offer from Regal.  How obstructed are the views on regular balcony and a deluxe balcony.  Can it be completely obstructed that you have to stand to look out and still see nothing?  Anyone have any photos to share? Don’t know what to do?  Are you sorry you placed a bid and won?

There's a website that shows views from different staterooms. 

 

It's a roll of the dice if you're bidding, as you can end up with zero obstruction, or a really poor view. 

 

Only you can answer if you're going to be happy with a bad location/view, which could happen.

Are you currently in an interior?  Anything is better than an Interior.

Mostly, on Royal Class ships, including Regal, you are looking down at the top of a lifeboat/tender. You are not impeded looking straight out, but you cannot look straight down to the water.
