RSS pre-cruise hotel

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if we are staying at the Palazzo Montemartini the night before my cruise with RSS cruises, do we have dinner included in the same hotel? We have an all inclusive pkg sailing on the Granduer.

I used to be on the Cruise Critic Forum back in 2014 before my first cruise with RCC for a Caribbean cruise. Don’t yell at me if I’m asking a dumb question in the wrong place. Cruise Critic doesn’t look 𝓐𝓝𝓨𝓣𝓗𝓘𝓝𝓖 like it did back then. I’m pretty much completely lost here. Thanks, Lily

Hello @LilyLiz and welcome back to the Cruise Critic message boards!

Thank you for your new thread. However, it was posted on an incorrect forum and was off topic there. You will find very important instructions or information there.

And don't forget to see if there is a Roll Call thread for your cruise. Please read What is a Roll Call? Everything you Need to Know and How To: Create A New Roll Call. For more information about our famous Roll Calls, please read the Roll Calls and Our Policy Regarding Facebook and Roll Calls sections in the Guidelines we all agreed to follow when registering for our free Cruise Critic memberships.

If you ever need technical help in regard to using the Cruise Critic message board software, go to the Need Help Using the Forums? Check Here! forum. You will see a large amount of "How to..." pinned threads toward the top of the forum's first page. Also, browse through the threads in the forum looking for threads of interest. Again, you may find your fellow Cruise Critic members have already posted questions and received answers that may be of interest to you.

I sincerely hope this will be helpful and glad to have you back aboard Cruise Critic!

Happy sails,

To answer your question, dinner is not included in your pre-cruise night hotel. You are on your own. Can get great suggestions for places to eat either from the Regent rep at the hotel or from the concierge.

There's a Regent rep at the hotel?

(We're at that same hotel and didn't expect dinner but it will be nice to have someone to answer other questions that might come up)

There’s usually a Regent desk (table) set up somewhere in the hotel lobby where you check in and get the info for transfers to the port, for both you and your luggage. They’re not there 24/7 but hotel reception will know their hours.

They have some local info, but the hotel front desk or concierge probably has more.

I would not plan on getting restaurant suggestions only from a Regent Rep.  Our last two cruises with RSSC had hotel stays (one post cruise and one pre cruise)  The post cruise hotel had a man helping Norwegian cruise people but told DH he was not the Regent Rep.  On last cruise (precruise) there was not a rep that I could find in the hotel, there were signs telling us where/when to go for the morning tours.

I would have a couple of close restaurant in mind so if no Rep, talk with the front desk.
