LondonLad60 Posted July 10 #1 Share Posted July 10 Having just moved into the Gold tier of the Britannia Club, my wife and I qualify for free laundry. Does anyone know if you can send garments just to be ironed or pressed as opposed to being given the full laundry treatment? Thanks in advance for any info. nosapphire Posted July 10 #2 Share Posted July 10 I think that yes, Gold includes just ironing. As far as I know, the only exclusion is repairs. Just make sure that when you fill in the laundry slip, write "GOLD" across each price section, otherwise you may get charged.
Glenndale Posted July 10 #3 Share Posted July 10 The charge will be applied to your account and your account details will show your status. I don’t believe it’s necessary to write Gold across the prices 🙂

They removed the charge and told me to write "Gold" in the price column. Several years back, so systems may well have been improved/updated since then. JMMKUK Posted July 10 #7 Share Posted July 10 It says on the form that items for pressing must have been washed, so I take it to mean you can't send a creased jacket that has been worn before.
Rare Windsurfboy Posted July 10 #8 Share Posted July 10 (edited) I've used their dry cleaning service. Although not included, it's actually much much cheaper than our local dry cleaners. So get DJ dry cleaned at end of cruise. But thinking logically should bring it "dirty" and get it dry cleaned on first day. nosapphire Posted July 10 #9 Share Posted July 10 Saga website says that dry cleaning is included for Britannia Gold members. https://travel.saga.co.uk/cruises/britannia-club.aspx
JMMKUK Posted July 11 #10 Share Posted July 11 It used to be, the forms we had last year said it isn't.
