I will be on my very first cruise on Celebrity Apex to Norway in early May 2025. From some research I have gathered I will need to bring clothing that can be layered and definitely outerwear that is warm and waterproof for excursions. My question is ,what is the temperature inside the ship ,ie in the dining room ,buffet, theatre etc . I come from a warm climate and I am wondering if jeans and a long sleeve top will be sufficient for indoors or will I need something warmer . 20 degrees is already chilly for me . TIA.

Just off the Apex to Norway and the Arctic Circle. I found the indoor temperature to be perfect. Short sleeves were fine around the ship. The only place I found slightly cool was the theatre. I am not used to air conditioning and there was not the icy blast I have had on other ships in the past. However you should note 20 degrees is tropical to me, so it is quite a relative issue. I hardly used the sweater I took for the evenings.

Indoor temperature will be no different than, for example, if you were staying at a hotel.  A long sleeved shirt and long pants should be fine.  I get cold easily so if I am wearing short sleeves at night I often bring a little sweater.

We find the inside temps the same no matter the itinerary. I always wear short sleeved shirts on the ship. During the day I'm always in shorts. My wife wears either 3/4 or long sleeved tops.
