Burial at sea

Does anyone have any experience with a burial at sea on Carnival?.

This has been covered recently. I remember people said they set it up with Carnival and you are taken down aft and low on the ship with a ship officer and possibly other people doing the same thing. The place and time is chosen by Carnival.

Thank you Sailor75. I looked up both of those threads and it helped me a lot. My husband passed away last month and we have a cruise booked on the Venezia in October so I am trying to find out whatever I can. We both loved cruising and anything to do with the ocean.

Condolences on the loss of your husband.  We had my Dad's ashes scattered when he passed away in 2000. He was a biology teacher for 30 years and also loved the ocean.  Wishing you a peaceful cruise in October.
