I also forgot to post my dinner pics

i had the “chicken tenders” (aka: two small morsels of grilled chicken), the Honey Glazed Pork Loin (only two of the three medallions), and of course the Indian Vegetarian dish

So I slept in today and didn’t get off the ship (been here a few times and not impressed with it and it’s always too damn humid here in the summer!)

I also had to WorkFromShip today.

just wrapped up some work stuff and we’re about to sail-away.

tonight is comped steakhouse and also the Mardi Gras Parade and Love & Marriage show.

I didn't find Rudi's small, but rather oddly laid out.  I don't like that wrap-around bench and all of those two tops right next to each other.  We refuse those tables and get a corner one on the much smaller bench at the back of Rudi's.  This gives us an opportunity to actually talk to each other without interrupting other conversations going on around us.  

 

I absolutely loved the Chilean Sea Bass at Rudi's.  Hope you give it a chance.  After all, it's free, you didn't have to check in on the app, and you aren't dining in room with a thousand other people.

Maybe it was the odd layout 

i also didn’t see the sea bass on the menu!

I had the mixed greens, seared shrimp and crab stuffed lobster.

overall I’d give it a 5/10..Catch on Princess CRUSHES this. My lobster was a spiny lobster and mushy. (Literally was the quality of what you get in the MDR)

I was disappointed. Tomorrow night at the steakhouse I’ll order the Dover Sole (and compare it to the Dover Sole at Catch)

HEARD about it is all; I stay away from Gen-Pop..That surprises me for an 8-day..but then it doesn’t for a carribean Carnival cruise.

But yeah; if I hadn’t heard about it, I wouldn’t have known, as I said.

Slept in a bit today (didn’t port until 10:30)

woke up at 11 and got cleaned up, packed up some (free) laundry and went to buffet for lunch.

to my great surprise they had a good Turkey carving, and I got some stir fry veggies too

Yup..unfortunately closed for renovations and the umbrella’s are down

and MOTHERPISS was it humid! Worse than in the DR! (I mean I guess we are further south) literally got my zone minutes in without even wanting to!
