excursion credit for transfers

Can you use the shore excursion credit from the HIA package to book transfers to the airport at the end of the cruise?

You can only use excursion credits for the shore excursions shown online. Some of those in your final city include a drop off at the airport. But for just the transfer from ship to airport, you have to use real money. Although, I ASSUME that if you book just the transfer (no excursion activities) while on board, you could use any OBC you might have. You will want to double check that last bit!

Yes, you can use OBC onboard for the simple transfer.  I am going to try to use the credit on my next cruise for the simple transfer, I will report back.  HAL can be inconsistent ship to ship so what I report may not hold for you.

Do you mean the excursion credit? 

When is your next cruise? We are on the Oosterdam Oct 10.

I was able to use my HIA early booking shore excursion credit for a debark transfer that includes a activity if that makes any difference.

those are definitely allowed.  Did you happen to ask about the straight to the airport transfer?

Thanks, but the flights are just after noon so no time for a transfer with activity, will just be going straight to the airport.
