Group of 8 including a celiac. Reserving a table for 8 on the Beyond.

We will be cruising on the Beyond the end of April. How do we reserve a table for 8 of us?  Our daughter is Celiac so we need that to be known.  We have  heard to visit the maitre’d on the first day. Are they easy to find outside the dining room.  Trying to reserve on the app is impossible. It would be nice for our guests who have never cruised on this class to experience the four dining rooms.  
What should we do to ensure we get a table to accommodate 8?

Email CXC@celebrity.com with the dietary requirements (I got a response within 12 hours).  A maître d' is typically located at the entrance to all the DRs, easy to locate.  IMO, 8-tops will ensure a slower, longer, less enjoyable meal experience.  Ask for adjacent 4-tops.

With a special diet, it might be better to pick one dining  rm  for dinner and try for same staff who can cater to any special needs..  it is mostly the decor that differs.

And you can order any of the other dining room menu choices if you wish.

Our DIL and Grandson are both Celiac sensitive, one severe, the other moderately. We have noticed that on the Summit this week there are a LOT of indicators of gluten free offerings. Every dish on the MDR menu is coded for dietary restrictions.

 

In the Buffet I am not sure I trust it as much. A Quattro cheese focaccia was marked as dairy free……let the buyer beware….

This is good advice. We did assigned dining with the same waiting staff each night on a recent 12 night cruise. Each night the maitre d came over to see if anything needed a special order for the following night, e. g. a pasta dish could be modified gf. It was easy to order from the other MDR specials menu too. It just saves having to explain the coeliac situation each night.
 

On our most recent 7 night cruise we moved round the dining rooms as we wanted a bit more flexibility but my husband only ordered the things which were already marked gf. We sometimes used the buffet in the evenings too . We did notice a few inconsistencies with the buffet labelling though so you do need to be proactive.
