BarbbmckBra12 Posted Monday at 04:25 PM #1 Share Posted Monday at 04:25 PM We have a trip planned for a cruise/tour with HAL for next spring. Was just reading reviews of the Lodge and hotels that HAL uses and am pretty concerned. Am wondering if we should cancel and rebook through Princess? Rare ColeThornton Posted Monday at 05:32 PM #2 Share Posted Monday at 05:32 PM (edited) No clue if you should cancel and go with someone else. We have no idea what your concerns are and why you would want to go with Princess. Have you asked people on the HAL forum about their experiences with this? https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/103-holland-america-line/ Edited Monday at 05:34 PM by ColeThornton

Gunner 66 Posted Monday at 08:31 PM #4 Share Posted Monday at 08:31 PM (edited) Be aware that with Princess if you are not Elite or staying in a Suite or pay in full, you cannot book ANY dining including Main Dining Room until paid. Because of that I cancelled a Princess cruise in January and booked with RCCL instead. Will never book another Princess. We are also looking at Alaska in 2026. It WON"T be with Princess. George C Posted Tuesday at 09:07 PM #5 Share Posted Tuesday at 09:07 PM We have done a few cruises with Princess and Hal they both have there positives and negatives, both decent lines although neither is my favorite.
