Taking the Volendam vista suite 6159 over piano bar. For those who’ve taken the Volemdam, should we be concerned with noise from the bar at night?

It's not a real late night venue. If you turn in very early or are allergic to "Sweet Caroline" or Billy Joel's "Piano Man," it could be an issue. I think you'll be fine though.

Since you are in a balcony cabin what is above you is more of a walkway area with small tables and chairs against the windows. So you might hear more movement above during entrainment hours, especially trivia times, with people moving chairs, etc.  I know that happened frequently during afternoon and evening trivia on my cruise last year.

Thank you. When we booked the cruise, HAL pdf deck plans on their web site showed “mix” below us and not the “piano bar.” Since then we discovered differently. Always liked Neil Diamond!  😎

Then good luck!  (Huge ND fan, saw him 25 times in concert) and have never, ever, heard a piano bar singer yet who did him justice.  Cringe-worthy.

We were on the Volendam in August and our cabin was located on Deck 6 above the Ocean Bar.  Music from the piano player rose into our room and was very noticeable, but with relief, the music ended around 10:30-11pm.
