Aquaship0 Posted Sunday at 10:03 AM #1 Share Posted Sunday at 10:03 AM As a bit of a gym bunny and high protein kinda person. I was wondering if the carnival ships have protein shakes at breakfast or in any of the dinings places. Are there high protein options available like can I order egg whites at breakfast. I figure I’ll just take some protein powder along if not, but I was curious. I saw they have energy drinks which I always start my day with. Does anyone know what brands? Diamond-56-Plus Posted Sunday at 12:09 PM #2 Share Posted Sunday at 12:09 PM Bring your protein powder, just be sure it's in a sealed container in your carry on. It's a hit or miss if they allow it onboard. Egg whites would be ok, if you don't mind waiting in line for it.

mz-s Posted Sunday at 02:23 PM #5 Share Posted Sunday at 02:23 PM You can bring on cartoned or canned protein drinks as well. Just no bottles.

DanJ Posted Sunday at 09:42 PM #7 Share Posted Sunday at 09:42 PM I took Premier Protein shakes on with me in my carryon and also a box of protein bars and a bag of my favorite trail mix in my luggage. I'm post-bariatric surgery so I wanted to have a few options for between meal snacks without ending up eating junk. They also sell Gatorade Zero on the ship but I only saw the blue and white flavors, which I do not like. I had also brought a package of G Zero fruit punch crystals and a thing of Crystal Light water enhancer to add to water when I didn't just want plain water.
MommyCrankyPants Posted Sunday at 10:24 PM #8 Share Posted Sunday at 10:24 PM The only energy drinks on the Elation last month were Red Bull and Celsius in 2 flavors. Our cruise last year on the Glory, we were able to get Rockstar, but when I inquired about that at Java Blue this time around, all she said was "Yeah, we no longer carry that." 🤷♀️

Ahh that’s good to know with the Gatorade zero I was also going to bring along some electrolyte powder as working out in summer feels like I always need it. I think I can probably just fill one of my vitamin bottles with protein powder maybe I only need enough for 7 days. Since powder is not in a bottle if I pack it with my supplants it should be ok? 6 hours ago, mz-s said: Protein drinks and energy drinks are not the same thing at all.... No not at all but it actually was still good to learn what’s on offer as I love them

The coffee shop had 40 g muscle milk protein shakes in chocolate and vanilla. It was included in cheers package otherwise it was $5.25

It's rare to be questioned but better safe than sorry.

bled01 Posted 5 hours ago #14 Share Posted 5 hours ago I get all the protein I need from my frequent trips to Pizzeria Del Capitano. You can go without protein shakes for a week…trust me. 😝
