What Are You Looking Forward To On Your Cruise?

For me, the Crown's destinations. Never been to Grand Turk or Bermuda. Friends have stayed at both places and never heard a bad thing.

I also look forward to all the activities and entertainment on board while at sea. None stop! ! ! The food helps alot, oh, the Love Boat Dessert.....Ymmmm...

 

But most of all, sitting on my balcony enjoy the stunning view of the Caribbean calm sea. No other sounds, no loud music, just the sound of the waves against the ship as she glides through the water. Relaxing and peaceful.

 

So what do you look forward to on your cruise?

I'm looking forward to: going for the first time and experience all that the Crown Princess and it's ports offer me for nine days beginning August 7th.

We're going to be on the Dawn Princess on a cruise to Alaska. Things I am looking forward to:

 

1. Celebrating meeting my hubby on Princess Cruise to Alaska 20 years ago.

2. Spending time with my dearest friend and her husband who are going also.

3. Spending time with my hubby --- cruises are always so romantic.

4. Destressing

 

We have gone on about 10 cruises. It is the best vacation in my opinion. We enjoy the entertainment, the ship, the crew ... gosh, just about everything. Can't wait!!!!

We like the ship itself. We're going on the Crown on Aug 16. I like that this time we don't have to fly to get there. I like going on a new ship, even one that's had more than it's share of problems so far.

 

I am looking forward to being pampered. To relaxing with my family. To some good food. to the soft rocking of the ship when I go to sleep at night.

 

I look forward to meeting some new friends on board too!

Being on the ship in the open sea which is very peaceful for me and doing whatever I want to do. Also, no laundry, no cooking, and no bills.

Looking forward to turning 60 while at sea, sailing on the Diamond, sitting on our aft balcony looking at the wake and hearing the ocean! Having tequila in place of the turkey ;-)) Doing some Christmas shopping in Cabo because we don't have to fly home. Bringing a few extra suitcases filled with bubble wrap!

 

This will be our 6th cruise with Princess and 6th different ship but our first 7 day cruise and I know it will go by all too fast. We have been spoiled taking longer repo cruises.

I am looking forward to everything that a cruise offers. To me, a ship is a destination- there's so much to do, people to meet, good food to consume, someone to pamper me at every turn," peace and quiet" while sitting on my balcony watching the waves ripple, and a great place to celebrate my anniversary with my husband. Now, once off the ship and at a port it's all about doing as much as I can in the shortest amount of time. After a cruise.... a vacation would fit the bill, since I debark with a "Dead Woman Walking" look and I"ve just completed a marathon feel.

I'm really looking forwarding to the Sun's cooler climate in Alaska. Other than that, probably not having to drive anywhere.

I am looking forward most to sleeping with my balcony door open (curtains closed so dont loose air conditioning). Also, not having to get in a car to go to dinner and hear "where do you want to go? I dont know, where to you want to go? I dont know." Spending quality time with my son and his girlfriend, and the casino!!!!

I will miss Toby, JoJo and Guido. (my dog, cat and ferret)

1. I must say I'm looking forward to not having to cook Thanksgiving dinner.

2. Not fighting the Wal-Mart crowd the day after Thanksgiving. I love the day after Thanksgiving sales but this year I'm looking forward to not having to deal with it.

3. Sharing Thanksgiving w/ a dear sisterfriend.

4. RELAXING AND SLEEPING ON DECK. There's just something about taking an afternoon nap on one of the decks and allowing the sounds of the ocean rock you to sleep.

5. Free food 24/7. YES!!

Just an hour alone together for me and my husband would be priceless. We love our children to death but we are in desperate need for a little Mommy and Daddy time.

 

However I am also looking forward to showing my kids the islands and looking for Pirate Treasure with them.

1. Going on the ship and enjoying my beautiful cabin and steward cleaning it up and making the beds and taking my laundry to clean.

2. The food and the service in the dining room.

3. The entertainment at night and I don't have to drive to get to it.

4. The lazy days at sea and sitting on the balcony just enjoying a good book, a snooze, or the view and peace and quiet.

5. Being away from work.

6. Getting a massage in the spa.

7. Seeing new and different places and meeting new people.

8. The cruises that my children/grandchildren go on with us and spending time with them.

9. Booking the next cruise while on board to have another one to look forward to.

I love cruising. I LOVE the sea air and walking on the promenade deck- looking out at the sapphire blue sea- that's my favorite part! Really, I just love it all, frankly!!:p

That was my feeling the first time I went to the Caribbean (St. Maarten) - I wanted a frozen drink delivered to me on the beach while sitting in a chair. It was as good as I had imagined it.

The best is watching the port you just left from your own balcony. How wonderful to have the only things to decide: 1.-what to wear and 2.-what to eat. Could it get any better??:rolleyes:
