Hey Radio

Awesome review. We'll be cruising on Explorer soon. Can you tell me where is Morningstar Beach? How far is it from Havensight or where the ship docks and is there a cost to get into the beach area? Is there a a cost to for beach chairs or cabanas? And since you didn't get to the beach until late in the day, was Morningstar Beach crowded when you got there? And was it hard getting a taxi to the beacha and from that beach? and lastly Did you have any time left to do a little shopping at havensight when you came back from Morningstar Beach? Sorry for all of the questions but I have never heard of Morningstar Beach and your pictures of it looks perfect. We were thinking of going to the famous magens bay but now that you have introduced me to Morningstar Beach, I think that may be another possibility. We will be on the 9 night in 2 months and would love to take in a nice beach.

Thanks for againb for your review and for the info on Morningstar Beach..

Hello everyone.... I am back on the ship now. it is about 915PM, and we will be set to sail soon...

I started the day by going to Morningstar Beach. The beach, restrooms, umbrella's ( I never saw any one to pay though) and changing rooms are free, and it is 10.00 to rent a chair for the day. They have a great pool though.... I relaxed on the beach and in the pool for a couple of hours.

The taxi fee to get there was $8 each way.

I then went up to Paradise Point for a few hours, I dont drink (except on a cruise), but I bought a Bushwacker while there....WOW...That thing almost knowked me down for the count. I took a few pics, but it was kind of cloudy, and a little rain dampened the quality of the pics.

I took the Paradise Pont tram back to Havensight ($9 One way)...visited a few shops , then back to the ship for a Windjammer break. I went back out and snapped a few more pics..... It was a great day...Sunny this morning....cloudy this afternoon....

Tomorrow is St Maarten day ! I plan to visit Maho Beach, then Front St shops, and maybe the Casino.

Thanks for the nice comments...Thanks for tuning in.

Thanks Radio! This is a great way to go on a fantasy cruise.

If you have been to the Conseirge lounge....is it full or have they opened another lounge?

I have been to the lounge every day...They did not open a second lounge.

Yes, they are potent:

1 shot each of

Rum

Vodka

Bailey's

Kahua

Amaretto

Creme de Cacao

Put in blender with lots of ice and blend away. Line the glass with Hershey's syrup and add the concoction..Some people add whipped cream and a cherry on top. Tastes like an adult chocolate milkshake.

A virgin bushwacker is....a glass of ice cubes!!!

Thanks again Radio for your pix and updates....I think everyone is enjoying them very much....

Oh you have us wishing we were on her again. We have two more booked already on the EOS. We fell in love with her our first and only cruise thus far! If you run into Petersen from India in the dining room, will you tell him his favorite dining table from April with the fire house gang from NY says hello??? We were first timers invited by our son and daughter in law who is from Long Island, to come along to celebrate the fire company that her father belongs to, big anniversary. Wow what a gang. We had a blast and everyone on this ship just made it so much more. We have aft cabins for the next two trips. We did the western first and doing the eastern in December! So now we are really foaming at the mouth seeing these beautiful pictures! Mrs. Radio must be a wonderful person to allow you to spend so much time sharing with us "live" so please extend our gratitude! Have a great trip and again thank you for sharing. I can use that only in a VZW area. It is a broadband connection that is very fast. I will try it next in San Juan. You must have a phone capable of Broadband/EVDO for it to work. Any standard phone can do it..at a slower speed.
