Hi Radio,

My family and friends were on the July 29th sailing of the Crown Princess, I have to admit the whole time I was wishing I was on the Explorer. I've been enjoying looking at your great photos while I sit here having my morning tea. I'm soooo jealous, wish I were there. Definitely doing one of the Voyager, or Freedom Classes next year. Thanks for taking the time out of your vacation to do this.

Radio, I'm enjoying your reports and pictures so much. Lots of us will be on the Explorer on Sept 17 to Bermuda so I really enjoyed your posts from that cruise.

I do have one question, and it's not about the Explorer. If anyone else knows the answer to this question please jump in and answer it.

How the heck do you get multiple pictures in a post and get them so big. When I follow the size guidelines and put them in with the "manage attachments" option below the reply box (620 X 280 for jpg) the pictures are so small. Also if I try to attach more than one picture they show up as links instead of posting the picture.

Please help, what am I doing wrong. These pics in this thread are awesome to see. Thanks again for doing this live Radio!

Can children do the Ocean Lab Tour? It looked very interesting!

Hi Kathy,

I also read on RCCL's site that if your kids are participating in "adventure ocean" (the kids program ) that going there, & doing science experiments, is part of the plan. ...........Michelle

Dearest Radio,

We are going on this cruise 10/6 and this couldn't be a better way to make me even more excited than I already am! This Saturday we are going to visit some of our cruise buddies that are also on that cruise. Thanks so much for sharing your vacation with all of us. The pictures truly are breathtaking!

Have a fun and safe trip! You are my daily ritual now!

You have to upload the pictures to a place where you can give a link to them instead of attaching them. And it must allow a single link to one picture, which is why photobucket and similar are often used. I upload to Webshots but I think I can't do the link to a single picture. Also, if I do this live from a ship, I use Picassa to export my pictures to a copy as a smaller size before uploading.. that is much faster for uploading multiple pictures.

I know I am being greedy here, but I have been sitting at work all day hoping that Radio would hurry up and get back on board so that I could read about his day in St. Marten and look at more fabulous cruise photos! I think he spoiled us on the sea days because he could post more often! :D

Anyway, I hope you had a great time, Radio, and I can't wait to read about it later!

Me too, I've been waiting here at work for more news. Going home now, will have to look for Radio later. I'm sure they had a great day. His day at Morningstar looked so great yest., we've decided to go there. I stayed at Frenchmen's Reef about 20 yrs ago and remembering it being beautiful.

St. Maartin - my favorite place on the planet.

Orient Bay Beach, 2 chairs, 2 cocktails and I'm in heaven :)

I love the pics of the Explorer before everybody gets up - nice and quiet.

Love those Pics!

We absolutely loved this port and loved Orient Beach too... definately HEAVEN! Great pictures Radio... Thank you!

Hello everyone...here are some pics from today...

I started off by renting a car from Budget...49.99 Total price /Toyota Automatic w/ AC, and drove to Oyster Pond for a scenic drive on my way to Orient Beach. Around every turn was a beautiful view. St Maartin is the most beautiful Island in the Caribbean..

Orient Beach was lovely...I relaxed with a copy of the local paper, and napped a bit. The water was serene, with a warm breeze and lots of sun.I went to Club Orient (20.00 for Parking, 2 chairs, and umbrella w/changing/rest rooms/all day)

I then went to Maho Beach (back on the Dutch side) I wanted to visit the Sunset Beach Bar for some beach / beverage time. It is also a great place to get some nice pics (All the planes fly over the beach to land at the International Airport across the street. Alot of other people had the same idea...there was Alot of people there. I got a few good shots and vids ( I will post the vids wen I return)

At about 2PM, I went back to Phillipsburg / Front St, and shopped a bit. The Knock Offs were everywhere.....Coach, Rolex etc.. very cheap. I went into a couple of Casino's, but wasn't impressed by them.

I forgot to say that I couldn't find a place to park near Front St, so I returned the rental car, and the rep drove me to Front St and Dropped me off. I took the water Taxi from Front St, back to the Pier.($3)

I bought a few things back at the pier, that made it back to the ship at about 4PM...

I took 120 photos today, and I will post most of them when I return...

Here are a few of them. I'm sure I will sleep good tonight....I will need to, because tomorrow is San Juan, PR. I love San Juan ! and get wait to get there.

Thanks for tuning in !
