Hi Steamboat..we are about to leave tomorrow and I was wondering if we will make the Danube all the way from Budapest to Vienna..Thanks and I will write along the way!!

We had dry and sunny weather during the last two weeks. It may rain on Friday but the weekend is expected to be fine. So no problems regarding the river level :D ! Expect cold and foggy mornings (40ies) and right now we have mid 60ies in the afternoon.

Jan sent me this e-mail this morning....

 

 

Well we found out something very interesting about river cruising..the Captain called us all together last night and said a cargo barge sunk in the middle if the Danube and so we are not sure when we can leave Budapest..we were supposed to leave at 9 last night and now they will update us at noon today..this might be a 2 week trip to Budapest!! Luckily it is a great city and lots to see and do!!
