My Caribbean Princess is suuuuuuuper tiny. :( It doesn't match the rest. But a nice CC'er got it for me onboard. My next trip is on NCL Pearl and I fear NCL doesn't have models! :(

(Star Princess, Vision of the Seas, Monarch of the Seas, Disney Magic, Caribbean Princess, Freedom of the Seas, Carnival Destiny.)

Nice display!

Two of my favorite models were NCL ships; a ceramic Norway model from '94 and a hard to find Norwegian Majesty model I snagged online. :)

Wanting to buy the Norwegian Cruise Line Pride of Hawaii ship model

Wanting to buy the Dawn Princess ship model

I try to buy a model of each cruise ship that I sailed on. They are normally in the gift shops and only cost around $35 each. I have already a nice collection of the Royal Caribbean International Vision of the Seas and the Carnival Liberty - two of the four cruise ships I went on. Unfortunately the Dawn Princess ship model, I never considered to get, since I thought that would be the only cruise of my life. And the Norwegian Cruise Line Pride of Hawaii ship model was sold out on my Hawaiian cruise.

I have checked ebay and no luck so far.

Thanks

Lyle

Perhaps go to the Roll Call section and find a Dawn roll call and see if anyone is nice enough to pick you up one if you cut them a check? Someone did that for me for RCCL Vision. I'm on the lookout for NCL as well.

My Uncle gave me my first ship model of the Carnival Spirit on my birthday during our first family cruise. I've been collecting them ever since! I only have three so far (C. Spirit, C. Magic, and Royal Caribbean's Mariner of The Seas). They, or as I like to call them, The Fleet, sit proudly atop my TV stand in my bedroom. Hoping to add some new ones soon!

My father collects the cast resin ship souvenirs from all his Princess Cruises. He is missing one for the Crown Princess. I have checked on ebay, but no luck. An extensive google search turned up nothing either. Would anyone know who I might contact to purchase one. Princess has told my father they are only available onboard the ship. Many thanks!!

This past weekend, I received my latest two models, one brand new of the Carnival Dream, and another older one of the Lady Nelson. Here are a couple of images of the collection in its case, which it is getting way too close to completely filling. The ships are organized by line, but are not grouped more formally than that (i.e. countries or eras). The smallest passenger ship I have is likely the Delta Queen, while the largest is the Oasis of the Seas. The oldest liner is the Great Eastern, and the newest the M.S. Queen Elizabeth

All the models I have are about 8 to 10 inches. My mother-in-law bought one while on the Dawn Princess and it was very small. Around 5 to 6 inches. I hope Princess isn’t scaling them down because I’m going on the Grand in March.

We were just on the Grand in June and bought one it is about 6 1/2 inches long.

OK I am officially jealous! Awesome collection. How long have you been collecting them and where do you get them? I tried eBay but without much luck.

I've asked friends who were going on a ship I've been on to buy one for me.

I received some new models, mostly from Arte Nautica. I paired them with some of my existing models for a couple of pictures:

First are models of the Galileo Galilei/ Guglielmo Marconi. In front is a CM model of the original sisters. To the left we have a CM model reworked as Chandris' Galileo and a Degen model of the same ship as Celebrity's Meridian. On the right is Arte Nautica's Costa Riviera and a Degen version repainted as the short-lived American Adventurer.

Next is the MSC Cruises Fleet. Top is Arte Nautica model of MSC Fantasia, next is Scherbak model of MSC Musica. Below her is sold onboard metal model of MSC Lirica, painted and removed from base. Final two are both by Arte Nautica of MSC Opera and Melody.

Finally are 1960 Holland America liners. Top is CM's Rotterdam. Next is Noordzee's Nieuw Amsterdam. Below her is the Statendam by Hansa, and finally Ryndam by Albatros.

We sailed on the RCCL Empress of the Seas a few months before she was transferred to their subsidiary Pullmantur Cruises. In the ship's shop, we were only able to buy a bell, not a ship's model. Anyone know where or if we can purchase a model?

Also, would be interested regarding info on where to buy a model of Grandeur of the Seas. A neighbor would like to buy one, unfortunately they didn't purchase while on the ship. I've searched EBay for them to no avail. Thanks!

The model is actually of the Jubilee, which is the Celebration's sister. It is by Carlo Marquardt, CM-KR 75

In general it seems out of stock right now. But I did recently see a resin version of the model for sale on ebay.co.uk from a modeler in Italy. It is of the Celebration, and is for sale for 59.99 UK Pounds

Sincerely sorry to dredge up a topic that stopped a while ago, but is there anywhere to acquire this model? I have been on a massive hunt for it, yet have had no luck. Would appreciate help!

I am also searching for the 1/1250 WL Pride of America by Carat. Any leads would be fantastic.
