Jeka Posted September 17, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2007 Are there any extra advantages booking a junior suite besides the extra room? Also much bigger bathroom, balcony and closet/storage. Checked one out on Saturday during disembarkment and was impressed. We're book in one for an 11 day on Brillance in January and glad we are. CrusinElf Posted September 17, 2007 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2007 Your question's been answered, but I love those Junior Suites!!! Elf
crusinmama06 Posted September 17, 2007 #7 Share Posted September 17, 2007 You can use (as reported here by other posters at CC) the VIP check in line at some ports. The sign says "Suite Guests" and they allow JS's in that line.
firefly333 Posted September 17, 2007 #8 Share Posted September 17, 2007 Some ships like Majesty and Sovereign dont have regular balconies, the JS is the cheapest cabin you can get that you can sit outside on your balcony.
aqhacruiser Posted September 18, 2007 #9 Share Posted September 18, 2007 Love the JS:D
cb at sea Posted September 18, 2007 #10 Share Posted September 18, 2007 The comfort-the luxury! It's a vacation, you don't want to feel like you're in a tent! (That's what the smaller cabins feel like, IMO!!) Splurge!
Apoggi Posted September 18, 2007 #11 Share Posted September 18, 2007 I am a tub person and last year when we did Hawaii I liked to die because we had 14 days with a shower. When I originally booked the D1 were the best price. When I tried to change to a JS the prices had gone up so much we really couldn't justify that amount of money just for a tub. Although the extra space would have been nice too. But I survived. From now on it is JS or above. Ann
IBookHePays Posted September 18, 2007 #12 Share Posted September 18, 2007 Great walk in closet can double as a dressing room. Larger sitting area. This was a really great thing to have when you have 4 in a JS!

rednancy1 Posted September 24, 2007 #14 Share Posted September 24, 2007 Do you get 2 C & A credits for booking a JS for a short cruise like a 4 or 5 night cruise? Yes you do. One credit for the cruise and an extra credit for the JS. Sweet isn't it?;)
1940fordlover Posted September 24, 2007 #15 Share Posted September 24, 2007 Depending on your ship, you may be given the luxury of the Conceirge. Free Drinks and hor dourves in the evening before dinner, a quiet spot for a light breakfast is also offered. If you haven't booked any activities Pre-Cruise, the Conceirge will take care of the details. Is it worth it????? OF COURSE!!
SLCBoys Posted September 24, 2007 #16 Share Posted September 24, 2007 How about making everyone jealous that has a balcony or smaller cabin :D Once you try it you won't go back! Booked a GS on the next cruise.
Merion_Mom Posted September 24, 2007 #17 Share Posted September 24, 2007 Also much bigger bathroom, balcony and closet/storage. Checked one out on Saturday during disembarkment and was impressed. We're book in one for an 11 day on Brillance in January and glad we are. On the Enchantment, the bathroom was only marginally larger. The bathtub was there, of course, but the floor space wasn't much bigger than for a regular cabin.
