Kiwi Kruzer Posted September 21, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2004 For cruise passengers and visitors arriving in Sydney with a day or two to spare, here is the link for the Hop on Hop off bus. http://www.sydneypass.info/ There are two,Sydney Explorer and Bondi Explorer. The Sydney Explorer takes you around the city sights, while the Bondi Explorer will take you out through the Eastern suburbs,to the Harbour Entrance, with stunning views back to the city ,then on to Bondi beach. Johanna7 Posted September 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2004 Thanks, extremely helpful. We have loved these in Oslo, Antwerp, Barcelona, you name it. Great value. Johanna
petlover Posted September 25, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2004 Kiwi Kruzer, Which bus/route would you recommend?
Aussie Gal Posted September 26, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2004 I would go on the one that takes you to Bondi. That way you see the best of everything, including the harbour, Bondi beach and also the lovely homes in the eastern suburbs. Jennie
Kiwi Kruzer Posted September 26, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted September 26, 2004 The Bondi Explorer will give you an "insight" into living in Sydney. It depends on how much time you have there. If I had a whole day....... I would do the Sydney Explorer, not get off,but take the photo op's then do the Bondi Explorer. I would get off at Double Bay the locals call it Double Pay very chic then carry on to the Sydney Heads Lunch at Doyles walk up to the cliffs overlooking the entrance to Sydney Harbour, then on to Bondi, and wander around the beach and cafes, then get back on the bus and go back to Circular Quay. You must also do a Harbour Cruise. My favourite is the ferry trip to Manly. So in answer to your question pet lover Bondi Explorer.....plus a Harbour cruise.....
